Greenfields was founded in 2016 by Managing Director Catherine Wolfe-Coote, in response to the increasing demand for In-House Legal Counsel, Company Secretary and Governance professionals.
As an established Australian business with a strong team delivery capability, we offer agile and bespoke solutions which fall outside the traditional ‘agency’ or ‘headhunting’ models. This approach enables us to build strong relationships with up-and-coming talent as well as develop deep networks with senior level candidates and leaders.

A fee becomes payable upon successful candidate placement only. The recruitment process will include unbranded advertising across various online mediums; tapping into our vast candidate networks and database; direct approaches to targeted individuals and word-of-mouth referrals. The assignment can be cancelled at any time with no fee payable.
Contingent Exclusive Selection
Contingent Exclusive Selection is a highly collaborative, successful method for clients not wanting to incur up-front fees but wanting more rigour around process and reporting. A fee becomes payable upon successful candidate placement only. The recruitment process will include unbranded advertising across various online mediums; tapping into our vast candidate networks and database; direct approaches to targeted individuals and word-of-mouth referrals. All candidates regardless of the source will be included in the qualification and benchmarking process for invoicing purposes.
Retained Executive Search
A robust and rigorous search process involving extensive due diligence, suitable for senior leadership roles, complex or sensitive roles. The process usually involves undertaking a market map of agreed sectors, segments or organisations, qualifying individuals who could be potential fits in terms of skills and experience. This includes unbranded advertising across various online mediums; tapping into our vast candidate networks and database; direct approaches to targeted individuals and word-of-mouth referrals. All candidates regardless of the source will be included in the qualification and benchmarking process for invoicing purposes. The fee is payable in three instalments.
Market advice and guidance on salary packaging which corresponds with what we are seeing in the market. This includes advice on base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, compressed and flexible working arrangements as well as other incentives which may assist in attracting and retaining top talent. We can arrange for resume and background checks, criminal and bankruptcy checks, psychometric tests and/or verbal, written, numerical or similar tests, proof of mandatory vaccinations, proof of professional qualifications and practicing certificates as agreed in advance, in writing with the client. Any extra costs incurred are usually passed onto the client.
